ODC Dance Jam //
Our Teen Company, The Dance Jam performs the works of Artistic Directors Kimi Okada and KT Nelson as well as other guest choreographers. These young dancers are challenged with sophisticated choreography, professional performance standards, and ODC’s complex dance style. They train rigorously in both modern and ballet techniques and are highly encouraged to create their own movement in the creative process. The Jam performs in professional venues, school outreach performances, and fundraisers for many social service organizations. Performance venues have included Yerba Buena Center for the Arts Theater, Mountain View Performing Arts Center, Kanbar Theater at the Jewish Community Center, Bay Area Discovery Center, ACT, Niebaum-Coppola Winery, and numerous private and public schools. //
